Description First version (1.0) of the Nuka Cola QuanTum label and bottle.
Things that needs adjustments:
- The caps need a re-dye, Both bottles.
- Bottles will be updated to 33cl
- Front Label will have more details and better fit
- Final Front and Back label in progress...

So far it looks pretty good i must say. A nice personal Fallout 3 collection.

Enjoy this first version (1.0) of the Nuka Cola Quantum
I'll update this page when i make the changes.

Where did you get so nice bottles and labels?

Regular Coca Cola glass bottles.
I got/found 3 different sizes, this is the smallest one of thoes in this picture.
I made the labels myself based on the ones in Fallout 3. These are the first and rough version though.

Wow, now that is awesome XD Was the bottle cap a twist off? I cant take off the caps without bending them too much as I cannot find any Cocoa-cola bottles that actually have a twist off cap -_- I am glad that you are willing to tell how you did all this, need to visit a lamp store now lol and genius to use Powerade, I was racking my brain over what I could use.

Thank you so much!
It's not the final look of it thou. It's in the making and almost ready to be published, if i could get some free time other then work, hehe.

No, it's the normal kind. I'v never seen a twist-off Cola cap, so not sure they excist hehe. But that sure would be better to use and alot easier.
I had to be carefull and ease on the cap all arround rather then open in one spot. So this way it's not that noticeable or have a dent on it.

Haha yeah, they are not expensive at all and they have many uses.
Yeah i to was puzzled about what drink or liquid to use for a long time. Blueberry, some other lemonade. Then it hit me, and the answer was right infront of me, Powerade! haha!

No the final look? O.O but it looks perfect already! So how long do those lights last? You can turn them on and off I take it?

Nope. I'm improving the label and the colours on it atm. I want it to look as close to the one in Fallout 3 as possible. The light effect will remain.
The one I’m using lasts forever since it has a power cord with a switch. But there are also battery powered ones without any cord.

Awsome! Much better than the bottles with glowstick in them, Cuz this one is drinkable and the light doesn't go out in 3 hours. I want to make one of these myself! Just need to find a glass store... +fav

Thank you so much!
Indeed, drinkable content and the light comes from below the bottle, not from the inside.
Oh, can't wait to see the result!
Be sure to check back here to, I will improve both bottles once I get a break from my work.

I might be able to do that. But, right now i'm only focusing on finishing them so i can cross off one more work from my list.

holy crap this is awesome, i feel like doing this myself, what kind of lighting did you use under the quantum?

SASWHITEKNIGHT In reply to Nindotendofreak [2008-12-19 12:31:37 +0000 UTC]

Thanks! Glad you like it!
I use a small "spotlight" It's design to be able to light up bottles and glasfigurines that stands on it. Different color settings ect.
Pretty easy to get nowdays in any glasshop or lampstore.
