I know I said the Goat was supposed to be my first and last pony related artwork...and of all the boyfriends in the world...mine had to be a bronie. Oh well, he keeps things interesting. ^_^
While watching the Royal Canterlot Wedding episode, we started to get into a conversation why the only Pegacorns you see in the show are princesses/females. Celestia, Luna and now Cadance? Where are the male Pegacorns?
The only prince we've seen in the show was Prince Blueblood, and he was a standard unicorn. You'd think a relative of Princess Celestia would have been a pegacorn by breed?
After a bit of debate, we got a bit curious, and since my boyfriend has no idea how to use photoshop, the task fell upon me to bring these boys to life. Basically, we designed them as male counterparts to Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. Meet Prince Sirius, the Prince of Space, and Prince Chronos, the Prince of Time.

Prince Chronos is obviously the elder brother. Named after the ancient Greek god of Time. Guardian of the flowing Sands of Time, and keeper of the Universal Time Stream. He is golden in color, and wears Silver/White Gold armor pieces with ruby gems. His Mane and Tail are done up in a Trojan horse style with a bit more flare, and they are remnant of the Sands of Time. Getting it to look somewhat flowy and sandy was not easy...and I'm not entirely happy with it. His "Cutie Mark" is basically multiple time faces, the kind you would find on a standard watch, stop watch, and clock.
Personality wise; He is very serious and to the point. He doesn't see the point in play and takes his duty as Time Keeper very seriously. He will occasionally scold his brother for irresponsible actions and playful nature.

Prince Sirius is the younger brother, Guardian of worlds, and keeper of the stars. He is named after the brightest star in the sky. He is Silver in color and wears Black steel/Gunmetal armor with Sapphire orbs. His mane and tail are done up in the similar Trojan horse style that Chronos also wears, only Sirius wears a Nebula mane and tail. I chose a nebula because it is scientifically believed that stars supernova to form Nebulas, and then the nebula cycles the remains within itself into a birthing of new stars. Kinda like a real life "Space Phoenix". ^_^ I do like how the mane and tail came out.
His "Cutie Mark" is designed to look like his namesake of the star Sirius. The larger size of the mark is to signify the brightness of this star.
Personality wise; Sirius, despite his name and brother's demeanor, is not at all Serious. He is a playful male, and loves to go galloping out among the stars. He likes to enjoy life and will sometimes try to get his older brother to loosen up and enjoy life.

I have to admit, it was fun coming up with their designs. And I purposely altered the male aspects to differ from the females to make them more distinctive. The male's wings are sleeker, more meant for speed, and they have the Pollex (bird's thumb) on their wings. The armor they wear is similar in design to what Celestia and Luna wear, only they are bulkier and appear more like a Yoke in style, giving these stallions more strength in their necks and chests. Their shoes are also similar in design of the princesses, but I added in the wings as reminiscent to the Greek/Roman god Hermes/Mercury, giving them more of a swift-footed look, and a more masculine appearance. And the "Crowns" they wear, I designed them to be similar to the helm that Nightmare Moon wore. I liked that style of head gear for a male, and it gives them a more distinctive difference from the princess's Tiaras.

These were not designed to be Consorts to the princesses from the show. I'm not that kind of fan artist. These were designed in fun, and we both felt that male Pegacorns needed to be brought to light.

I also made a "Base" out of these boys for folks to use to try and set up a foundation for others to design their own Prince Pegacorns. If you are willing to follow the Terms of Use, you can find the Bases here: Prince Pegacorn Bases

Oh, and I refuse to call these creatures "Alicorns". Before the Furry community adopted the word to define this as a species, the word Alicorn was actually used to describe the magical substance that the unicorn's horn was made of.
These critters are Pegacorns = Pegasus + Unicorn, or simply put; Winged Unicorns.
This is the true original definition of the word Alicorn. Feel free to look up the word in any original Non-Furry fantasy based book/website.

EDIT - Since people refuse to READ, I will put this simply; ANYONE WHO IGNORANTLY COMMENTS "These are Alicorns, not Pegacorns" WILL BE IGNORED, LABELED AS SPAM, AND CONSIDERED AN ILLITERATE IGNORANT TROLL. EDIT - Yes...there have been many ignorant people making these comments, and it gets very annoying that people don't read and feel the need to post something because they like to fall in with the fads and memes. Never seems to occur to them that there may be a reason why people like me do the things we do.
