I personally believe that original artists should be the only one's to make and distribute bases of their artwork. Here, I am practicing that belief.
I recently created a race of Asian Qilin to exist in the MLP world, and now look to share these creatures with others who are interested in the possibilities of other races of creatures in the MLP FIM Fandom.

This Base Template has the "nude" Qilin body design, and features the basic structures for all 3 species of Qilin that I've created. It is a PSD file for Photoshop. No, I don't have, or make, any other formats. This file contains several line and color layers, that programs like MS Paint cannot work with. So, please, don't ask for other formats.

Before downloading this base template for use, please first review the prior submissions to learn what the Qilin of Neigh-Beyul are and the differences of each of the species.

The templates offer the option to create a male or female Qilin, and they contain all the files to help build a new member of their species. Each Species file contains the basic special features that makes each species unique. You are free to design and make your own mane and tail adornments and styles. You are free to change the eye shapes if you wish. Beards for the males are offered, and optional. You are free to make/stlye your own beards too.
You can change the color of the scales if you wish, I just don't recommend mixing and matching different species' scales.
***About Metal Qilin Options***
Due to alterations to some parts of the body, Metal Qilin options do have their own Line Art and Color layout Layers. Make sure to open the Layer Groups to select the Metal Qilin options if that is your desired race.

As mentioned before, Qilin are not ponies, so I did not design them to wear cutie marks.

Please obey DeviantART's Rules and Regulations and don't get caught trying to sell what is not yours to gain profit.

You can post your completed work in other art communities and portfolios as long as credit is given to me and a link is provided to my original Bases.

Don't use my Bases for any illegal, racist, pornographic, animal abusive or violent artworks.

I am working on a design for their "fawns" or "Younglings". This is what I decided to call their young for now. So there will be a future update that will add in its own base.
