Story (215 WC)

Although Fall was the season for Aldergate to start their semester, Havi managed to find some time to drive Venture over to Invernay for the Fall International Show Jumping Festival. Havi was excited for the show and to have some quality time with venture after a lengthy show season with Cash. After scouting out the course, he returned to groom and get Venture ready for the round. The bay gelding appreciated the quality time and in his own way enjoyed the solitude with Havi. After his bay coat shone to perfection, he was lead out to the arena where they waited for their round. As soon as the starting bell sounded, the pair cantered towards the first obstacle, a black and white AUSWB vertical. The jump was cleared with ease as they continued through their course. The calypso waves obstacle was a jump Havi found himself slightly worried about due to the clear glass wave standee underneath the poles. Venture paid it no mind to his rider's relief and they turned to continue their course. Havi found himself breathe the smallest of sighs of relief, the whole course felt like riding a bike. To the pair's benefit, no amount of time apart replaced the second-nature level of connection they had on the show jumping field.
