Day Four arrived and much to Magnus's relief, the rain had finally subsided in time for the refinement trials. As the pair were doing the showjumping trial, they had some extra time in the morning to get ready. Moody skies aside, the pair made their way out to survey their course. Magnus noticed a fair amount of familiar obstacles with new additions in the form of shiny sponsor jumps. The haute equiture jump was a unique sight for Magnus and he hoped the new addition wouldn't phase Escalade to much. As the bell rung, the pair cantered off to their first jump.

Sailing over with ease, Magnus was relieved that Escalade was in work mode and was finding joy carting him around the course even with some new sights. Up they came towards the new haute equiture jump and Magnus found himself holding his breath as the grey mare charged forward. Sailing over with ease, the skies seemed to part, dotting the arena with rays of light from the sun peeking behind the clouds. A faint rainbow was visible in the distance, surely a good omen? Carvaggio and their rider were watching the round as they were going to perform next. At rainbow's end, maybe the pair would find a fair amount of success in the trials this year.
