I dont think his mouth is open because of his foot being there. Broncs tend to have their mouth open(I still have yet to figure out why myself???)... I wish I could say it'd be easier for them to breathe, but horses can't breathe through their mouths. lol. But they do make a grunting sound while bucking and stuff..so.eh..

Nothing broken, but I'm sure he has some nasty bruises.
Only injury that day was when a bull fighters finger popped out of place. Ouchy.
