Blow outs are the best especily when the guy gets dumped right away lol.he looks like he was pretty eager to get out, Can tell by the scrach on his leg as well as the blow out. He was going let me out so I can do ma thing!

I dunno, its kind of cool when they can hold on, especially since its so difficult to mark them out. Thats why I love buckers like Miss Congeniality, IF they can ride that huge blow out, an IF they mark her out, then its usually an awesome score!

Yep he was doing some chute fighting LemmeoutlemmeoutlemmeoutBOOM!!

Yea true but I probably see to many buck offs we only have a few decent riders that tend to stay on the top horses. I loved watching Batman when he was still around but now I love this other horse but his name has just gone out of my mind.
Hmmm now I am thinking I havent see a decent ride in a while because I dont think I have seen Rodny ride for a bit oh well the last open rodeo I went to had some great buckers but a lot of buck offs and the last 2nd divi one had such amazing bucking that there was only one ride.

Haha ghota love them chute fighters they come out with one hell of a bang

I was going to say, you should come out to some of the rodeos in my neck of the woods, but NZ is a bit of a trip

ouchie! I hadn't noticed! He was thrashing around in the chute before he was let out and must of nicked himself. The horses at Helix are mostly young and inexperienced so they haven't learned that if they stand still in the chutes they get let out sooner (and can go back to the herd and eat )

MissDudette In reply to sorrelstang [2010-02-08 07:04:48 +0000 UTC]

Ah, that makes sense. I kept looking at the cut and trying to see whether it from inside or just a nick on his nose. Just the same, it is a great shot, and you can tell these horses are a lot wilder than most.

Haha, I wouldn't mind buying them all up from Helix just to keep and trail ride with! XD

ME TOO! They have a lot of really beautiful broncs that buck there, lots of roans and palominos with a lot of white! If you look back at my first pics from Helix theres one bronc I fell in love with, a big bay roan sabino I still day dream of finding him and making a riding horse out of him (or just a really sexy pasture pet! ). Someday I will have a retrained bronc for my riding horse even if its not him! They make great riding horses since they're so smart and athletic...just don't tighten that back cinch too tight

MissDudette In reply to sorrelstang [2010-02-08 19:31:05 +0000 UTC]

Seriously? Oooh, I'll have to go through your stuff, I will. ^^

Yeah, broncs would be neat to have, especially since I've decided that no horse on this planet is untrainable.
Oooh, one of these days, I'd like to work with a bronc rodeo just to see what makes the horses tick and maybe pick me up a couple. XD
Haha, mustangs and broncos FOR THE WIN!

I love this photo! He looks just like an elderly school horse I knew, who recently passed away. Same expression in the face, same color and markings. Aww

Lol, no, at least not in her old age she was a saint who was ridden by everyone from little kids to grandmas to special needs riders (and also was the first horse my non-horsey boyfriend rode)
