My prize winner for the day. Theres not much I can say about this photo other than I love it to death.Now that I've tweaked this photo and added the border I kinda want to do the same to the others.....damn.

EDIT: This photo has been published in the Competitor News, a local rodeo news publication!! I'll post a copy of it when I get mine (no I havent seen it yet) I found out from the riders MOM calling me about getting prints of the image!

Wow amazing pic almost captures the thrill of being there and seeing it which is what a great pic does. I can just see how the rest of the ride went from that one shot. that is one fine bucking horse, very good at what he/she does. Makes me miss rodeo so much (off season here) I now must go see the rest of your shots...

i'll admit that i'm not a fan of rodeos, not a big supporter by any means. I mean i know there are rodeos out there that aren't cruel to their animals, but places like the cheyenne rodeo who shock the animals, and do events like steer busting do discourage me from being a big fan.
BUT
with that being said, i had to favorite this [and some of your other photos] because this is an absolutely amazing shot, and the horse looks to be in very good condition, and obviously good health or he wouldn't have been able to pull off such a jaw dropping feat like this!

You do realize that this is cruelty to animals. The only reason this horse is bucking is because a string is tied tight around his genitals to cause him pain so that that dumb ass man, and you all, can get a thrill.
