Artist's Notes: Yesterday I posted a piece celebrating the life of an artist who arguably was the master of his craft and today I'm doing the same. Over a month ago it was made public that Kentaro Miura, the author and artist of Berserk, had passed away. I wanted to make something to commemorate him. Berserk means a lot to me and it is truly sad that Miura passed before finishing his life's work. While berserk itself may never be finished, we are still unsure if his apprentices will continue the story, I am happy with the last chapter that was written. Although the main conflict remains unresloved, the characters are in a state of peace just before the final climax of the story and I kind of like that. As fans of the series can tell, this piece was inspired by that final chapter.
