lately i've REALLY been getting to know snails....i've always loved them but never did much but just sketch them. this guy...smaller then the top of a pencil eraser? was just BEGGING me to photograph it

I quite literally have only seen ONE snail that I can remember when I went down to Florida lol - I only have slugs around my house

if you ever want to attract them? put a VERY shallow dish of beer out in the yard at night...check on it in about an hour? you should have all KINDS of slugs and snails visiting.........but make sure it's SHALLOW! they'll get drunk and actually drown if you make it too deep.

Just remember to check on it...like I said? they REALLLLLY like beer...and will drunkenly commit suicide if left un-attended. CHILDREN! But it is amazing..how swiftly they're attracted to it...
