In this way, it forms a unique organic landscape, resulting in many unusual formations, such as the one shown below as a cross section of a section of the foamy plain landscape.
Various infections can affect the grass, and some of them create voids in its organic mass. Such "caves" often become a home for living organisms, both aquatic and terrestrial. Frequent floods can leave gaps in the foamy grass filled with water, allowing the development of small, isolated communities of aquatic and semiaquatic organisms that get there during floods.
