i've got google maps on my smartphone. i don't get lost. i just go where the little dart points me...ย
but my boyfriend has to walk me every time. a) more time together. b) the area he is living is... there is nobody! no people crossing the street, no car going by.... "nobody will hear you scream...."

well, I needed to walk to such an area you described in the night when I was 14 regulary - I also could have walked along a street, where few cars passed, people lives and people would cross my way in the night. But I decided to walk through the lonely field, where nobody lives, no other people would cross my way at that time and no car would going by....because I thought if I want to kidnapp someone or "just" assault someone, I would look out for a place, where I expect to meet someone to kidnapp or to assault at any time per day...a lonely field is not such a place - exspecially not in the night. That was my way of thinking XD

at first this thought is right. just: most of these guys (at least these that are after kids) are cowards.
they will follow you for hours if needed and run away when you say "buuh".
they wait for you to be alone.
so yes, you wont meet them in fields, but they can follow you there. they can watch you using this way again and again and wait for you at the right place.
i one time was attacked by such a guy when i was younger. i screamed at him, telling him he is not worthy to touch me, i ย do not allow him do something to me. he was so much stronger then me, but he was so shocked, he ran away. later police told me that most of these guys will rum, when you fight back. but i still carry pepper spray with me...

(But yes, I'm also one with very bad sense of orientation, so I double-check maps before going somewhere I haven't visited before. Or make that triple. Good thing smart phones have navigation apps these days!)

I admit... Iยดm also like her sometimes. Two years ago I wanted my boyfriend to come escort me to school when my first year started. City was unfamiliar for me because I just moved but schools location was ridiculously easy to go with a bus. I have ever been so ashamed like back then.ย 8ยดD
