I imagine it would be more painful to give birth...

Not even his mother can deny being curious. And thanks to you, this will now be the one and only question I have for a transgendered female-to-male who is a birth parent.
And I just have to giggle that he called her "mommy". Poor baby wants his mommy to make it better. With murder.

Even for a ftm, I don't think being kicked in the balls would have the same affect as someone who was born male... You know, 'cause they won't have real balls full of nerve endings. >:U
Still, I'd have to imagine giving birth hurts more, considering some births can go on for over a day, where as a kick in the nuts is very unlikely to hurt that long. v3v
IT'S ALL ABOUT COMPARISON~.

I guess also a point is that the female body is clever to release a lot of happiness hormone after giving birth, which makes women kind of "forget" the pain - otherwise no woman would want to have another child if the pain wouldnΒ΄t be bearable.
I don`t know if that happens too after a kick in the balls XD

Hmn, well, I've heard some women do remember the pain and they hated it, but the urge to have another child is strong. AND BESIDES... The painkilling drugs are always a help. xD

MTibbs-89 In reply to Savu0211 [2012-12-09 21:08:13 +0000 UTC]
Except that the fact that a woman is pretty much required to release these hormones after birth in order to ever desire having another child sort of implies the pain of birthing a child is far worse than is the pain of getting a kick to the nuts, the pain of which guys do NOT seem to forget.
Honestly, I can't imagine a kick to the nuts being much worse than really bad menstrual cramps (the kind that are crippling). Except that for the most part, a kick to the nuts can be avoided if the guy has fast reflexes, or is smart enough to not piss someone off enough to warrant a kick to the jewels. And, like child birth, it is likely the menstrual cramps would last longer than the pain of a kick to the nuts. Note that I am not in any way saying a kick to the nuts does not hurt- clearly it does. So I would not advise kicking a guy in the nuts unless it is self defense in a life-or-death situation, because otherwise it would just be mean.
Sorry if my sentence structure does not make sense, I am really tired right now.

Oh come on, don`t be so serious XD It is not really a serious discussion after all because no one really knows the right answer.
To my mind you canΒ΄t compare both pains because they are different anyway....If I wanted to start a challenge about pains, I would chose wandering nephroliths in the urethra - that`s really aweful (and far worse than a kick in the balls - and longer) XD

Mm? I am sorry, I did not mean to come off as serious. I was merely stating an opinion, but sorry if I offended anyone.

In one of the myths, Loki gets pregnant and has the eight legged horse Sleipnir so... thats what this is referring to me thinks xD

According to some versions of a myth he also gave birth to Fenrir, Hel and Jormungand after he ate the heart of a Jotun witch. Thanks to humon I researched that one, until now I thought it was that witch that gave birth to those three children of him.

I've never been too involved with these characters so I only had what I saw people said throughout the comments so I did not know that xD Interesting.

Until yesterday I thought that Sleipnir was his only child he was pregnant with himself. But humon is really great in presenting those facts on the norse mythology that I still learn quite a lot of new things when reading her comcis here on dA. I once thought that I knew pretty much about the Edda but then found out that there is a lot(!) I didn't know until today.
