Description While this review was really irritating to sit through, the last few minutes offended me:

"People like to laugh, to think, and even be scared, but no one anywhere likes to be disgusted!"

Who gives you the right to say what people actually enjoy? There's a reason why Drawn Together had an audience. I understand why some people would dislike "Drawn Together". It's a show that's not for everyone. However, its raunchy theme is SUBJECTIVE, meaning while some people will be disgusted, others will find the humor to be amusing. You can say those people have bad taste if you want, but Drawn Together is a comedy show, no matter how you think it works for yourself.

"There are rules to comedy, and if you fail at reaching then, then your comedy will fail!"

NO. There are no rules to comedy. Even the simplest things can make someone laugh. Once again, comedy is subjective. What may not work for you, can work for others. No one thinks the same way.

I... I lost respect for this individual. People, enjoy what you want. I understand that there will be people who won't like something, but there's no rule book that says a cartoon CAN'T be raunchy just for the sake of being edgy.

Oh, and by the way, her name is "Toot", not "toots". It's called simple researching on Wikipedia.

EDIT: Wow, this definitely became a controversial deviation. Just to let you know, even after what I say here, I don't hate him as a person, and I never will. I just found this review to have plenty of flaws. I did agree with him on the animation though. If you still enjoy his content and agree with the review, that's fine! We all have different tastes, that was the point of making this whole thing.

People nowadays needs to know that Mr. Enter isn't really the messiah of animation industry. Since he's really getting into himself and might well be bad as the things he'll reviewed.

Like how he sometimes tell writers go to hell or something like that. Sure, The Movie is bad in some ways. But i seen worst things then that on newgrounds.

His Ego is starting to become worst and worst...

From Enter's review I really don't want to watch the film myself, really all it took was seeing cartoon characters stomping lots of puppies and kittens to death, I just won't watch anything where an animal gets hurt. Even though the joke is just about the producer's weird sick fetish for animal killing I still find it way too disgusting to laugh at. Sick fetishes aren't funny and animal killing isn't funny, but it's very clear that this movie is not meant for me, there that's all I got to say if you don't like the things I mentioned don't watch it if these things don't bother you be my guest.

Understandable, I know there are things in the movie that will make some people uncomfortable, but that doesn't mean nobody will find anything in Drawn Together funny. But yeah, it's not meant for everyone. ^^

Haaaaah! I remember when I used to love this internet critic called "the Nostalgia Critic", but then I sort of outgrew him. His complaints about this and that became rendundant and annoying, and I watched him less and less because he became less interesting to me.

Take my advice Sco. (that is if you want to) Don't force yourself to watch something that you don't like. Whenever something you're watching displeases you to a level you can't stand, just close it down, and stop watching it.

Don't dig too much into the stuff other people say, or some show. It's all either simple fictional entertainment or somebody's opinion on something fictional. Not something to rant about. Just saying, coz sometimes I make the mistake of ranting about stuff that is fictional or some opinion I didn't like.

I've been pretty indecisive on whether or not I should respect Mr. Enter. On one hand, he has Asperger's like me and we share a few quirks and thoughts. On the other, having Asperger's is no excuse for being a pretentious, over-sensitive hothead who constantly confuses personal opinion and taste with cold-hard facts. After reading everything said here, I'm pretty sure I'm no longer going to respect him now.

I have a feeling if Drawn Together was still around, they'd do to Mr. Enter what they did to Entertainment Weekly that one time.

I also have Aspergers, but was I never really interested in Drawn Together. The whole premise of a "reality show in animation" didn't seem to make much sense.

DnMStarsi In reply to RaccoonFoot [2015-10-28 06:51:42 +0000 UTC]

I agree. I have Asperger's as well but even I didn't agree with him on several things when it came to his review. And yes, just because you're autistic doesn't excuse you for being an opiniated hothead even if what you saw was that bad and you really care about animation. I really care about Video Games but if there was a VG version of Drawn Together, I wouldn't be all "People want games to make us think, be smart and feel, not disgusted!" and pretty much anything like that. I can understand his love for animation and why certain subjects get to him but no, yoh gotta watch and look back to your remarks cuz chances are you are gonna look BAD. I don't act like i know how to make or write good material for games. That was one of the worst 100th episodes I have ever seen and it pretty much sealed the deal on me unsubscribing.

Although, I would like to see the ST cast go up against the "Mysterious Mr. Enter" even though it'll resort to him making a video on them and why this show and their creators are inexcusable on them being bad and irredeemable.

I gotta say, aside from his dislike of the movie which I respect, for his 100th episode, it was dull. I watched it entirely, hoping to be entertained cuz of the upcoming terrible animation review even though he was mainly unentertaining for me but I hoped his 100th episode would reignite my interests/enjoyment for his videos. I was wrong. He was all "its the 100th episode and we're gonna have some fun next time." The opening, ending and overall feel to his 100th episode was pretty much any other episode. Nothing special or big to celebrate the series aside from it being 40 minutes long but that's nothing really special, just you reading that film apart deeply.

Now I don't like Drawn Together (I don't see it as horrible as John does, just found it unfunny for me) but boy, there's SO much he complained about. Sure, the corpse thing was dumb IMO, and a few moments of them killing animation icons of doing random and messed up shit sucked but I wasn't really grossed out by it and I kinda like Road Runner getting killed and Wily E Coyote killing himself cuz of it. While I agreed on his points on doing shock humor all the way, his whole "people like to laugh and not disgusted" is just biased. YOU (and some of your fans) like to be laugh, think and be scared for animated shows. You don't know what I, Scotty, and others want. For me, I want to be entertained and try to have an open mind on certain shows or reviewers like Mr Enter who I lost interest for a while ago but unsubscribed because he was simply boring and kinda annoying for me. I do congratulate him for getting this far and having thousands of fans supporting him but even though he'll survive without the likes of me, I'm done with him unless I find more crap from him through your pictures cuz I get more enjoyment over his videos. When it comes to comedy, you have to be funny. Whether it be from your pain or others or whatever, everyone has different tastes in comedy. I still enjoy some of the "immature, classless, cheap humor" cuz in the end, good and bad comedies try to entertain whether they'd be funny or do decent critiques. I may have wasted almost an hour of my night giving that guy one more chance to entertain me in his own way and while his fans probably liked it, I don't. The movie sucked when I watched it but his review of it sucked harder and no amount of animated parodies or icons being ruined can change my opinion.

Btw nice drawing. I can imagine "Toot" figuring out a way to get back at him.

Given that this film seems to have hit all of the things that Mister Enter hates in cartoons (I think I made a check list of Mister Enter's 'triggers' and this film seems to have set them all off, thus causing him to get a TAD overboard. Even he admits he can do that)
