Description NOTE:
This tutorial was made a long time ago, and may not be relevant with the latest versions of Kisekae or certain internet browsers.

Here's a little thing for you lovelies. Let me know if you have any questions!!

I was going to write a script people could use that would do this for them, but it's not really that hard of a process. 

I'm sorry if you use an Apple or Linux device; you could still do this, but I don't know the Unix/Linux AppData locations off the top of my head like I do on Windows. 

NOTE: This will not work properly if your backup version and Kisekae version do not match. If Kisekae is updated, IMMEDIATELY MAKE A NEW BACKUP OF YOUR FILES. 
IF YOU HAVE MULTIPLE POCHI FOLDERS, BACKUP THEM ALL.

UPDATE:
If you don't find the Flash folder in the location I've laid out, check the following:

AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Pepper Data\Shockwave Flash\WritableRoot

This folder exists if you are using Google Chrome AND do not have Adobe Flashplayer installed on your computer from the Adobe Flash website. Google Chrome has Flash built in (ie Pepper Data/Pepper Flash), but the built-in flash plugin is only used if you don't have your own installation of Flash already on your computer.

hi, sorry to bother ya, i know it's a OOOOOOOOLD topic but... i'm desespared, you know... xd ?

i used "ccleaner" and losted all my kisekae data >_> but i find a way to recover them, and i get all the folder with the old data but...

when i delete and copy the old "pochi" folder, and i restard kisekae, the folder was deletd front of my eyes and replaced by a EMPTY new D:
( i leterraly see the "2980ko" become "2ko" when a launch kisekae  q_q ALL the time ! Dx)
i tryed a lot of way... close the browser... close the computer... copy it again... delete all... copy all.... google chrome... firefox... nothing works ><

did you has an idea for make it works ? or all my baby are scelled in this 2980ko unusable folder for eternity ? q_q'

I'm not sure, I'm sorry! I don't really know what the "298ko" is...is that your "random name" folder?
It might be the method that you used to recover the files.

Try these:

-Copy the files when the browser is already closed
-Try Copying just the pochi folder
-Try copying just the k_kisekae2.swf folder into 
-Try copying just the old .sol files (my_data.sol, my_data2.sol, story_data.sol, etc...ALL OF THEM) to replace the new ones in the k_kisekae2.swf folder.

thanks for trying to help me ahah xD "2980ko" is the size of the foler... and the folder is "my_data.sol"

but i opened the folder and compared to a "normal save" and it's totally corupted q_q can't works.... ahhw >< rip my baby !

 this is a very old tutorial and i've never tested with Edge or Internet Explorer because they're the worst browsers haha

When I went to sharedobjects, the only thing was BLU3CAV4, so I clicked that, and the other only thing was lookup.bluecava.com, so then I clicked on that and the only thing it it was machine data.sol. Help?

do you use chrome? 
There is another location to check if you use Chrome; 

AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Pepper Data\Shockwave Flash\WritableRoot

When I searched up Local in the appdata thing, there were multiple Local folders.

I learned that method when moving to my current old laptop in 2011, except that I used it with Newgrounds.com save data since Kisekae2 didn't exist until 2012 I think. Now I'm using this method to move my kisekae2 data to my new laptop.

Doesn't work for me. Only folder in there is mcaffee.com. I clicked restore options to default in an attempt to fix a glitch where it wouldn't open in windows 7 mode and it wiped everything.

did you check the special Chrome folder?

Yup. There's kisekae saves in there, but when there are, it still doesn't load 'em.
