pieces, fragments, blood, a glimmer of hope in bleak darkness. The darkness is rusting up around our focus, and it feels like something is trapped. Sick is all around. There is no escape from this.
-since you set the stage with song lyrics- I played the song with the image to get more of a feel for the piece. (it had been awhile since i had heard it. Probably since he sang it for that fund raiser.)

Considering the meaning behind the piece, in it's own interpretation, this was especially satisfying: "The darkness is rusting up around our focus, and it feels like something is trapped. Sick is all around. There is no escape from this."
The darkness and that light definitely play importantly off one another in this. I enjoyed reading your interpretation. Thank you
