I pictured Dale and Flash escaping Ming's palace in one of his own small ships and being shot down. The ship screams into the outlying jungles like a sickle cutting a swath before skimming water and striking a large tree sending its fruit splattering the entire window. They have to get out fast because the fruit is highly acidic to metal, which comes in handy later on.
