Description
Idea is mine, though based on the Tournament of Mortals.This TOM fight is brought to you by Superpowered girls with daddy issues.
Princess Azula: Born into the lap of luxury, Azula not only believes she will rule the world, she expects it. Years spent with her twisted father have warped her into a cruel, sadistic, and powerful girl. She will do whatever it takes to win, and whatever it takes to gain the power she feels she deserves.
Raven: Ever since the day she was born, Raven knew one day she would be the cause of great evil, that her demonic father would try and use her as an instrument in his schemes. As if to make up for it, Raven has dedicated her life to protecting others from evil with her fellow Titans; seeking a way to better the world, and to protect it from her father.
Two girls. An arena. One one can survive. One idolized her father, and sought to surpass him. One hated and feared her father, and sought to be nothing like him. One draws her power from fire, the other shadow. Only one of these girls can be--
THE DEADLIEST MORTAL!
Finally, in a classic 'To the Victor Goes the Spoils', after you pick a winner, pick something for them to take from the loser. It may be something as simple as a piece of equipment, to something as complex as a power. I'm just curious what you all would say.

It's sort of a blanket comment in order to draw out the greatest response from someone. Instead of one word comments, I can get them to put down something a little more.

It isn't. I've done it with others, or more often with my Journal Debates. Usually the comments I get address some aspect of what we saw in this particular blanket (How would Blank deal with Blank, How would Blank finish Blank, What ability should Blank get for beating Blank). More or less.
Usually I have to tailor the comment a little more, but this time that wasn't case.

Actualy raven does have a few tricks up her sleves

besides the ability to fly and pass though objects (an almost instant win power in itself) ravens powers a fulled by emotions not just hers but those around (forget the name of her ability to sence emotions) meaning azula is a walking power booster for raven.

A little time inside Raven's cloak of doom will render Azula quite helpless.

By either teleporting or blocking it with a shield. Or tweaking Azula's emotions to ensure she's too unbalanced to use lightning.
Drag Aulza into the depths of her cloak and leave her a sobbing wreck.
A shiny red button? I dunno. Does she need a reward?
No, not really.

Raven wins here. While Azula's flames and bending skills are quite powerful, Raven's spells affect the enviroment and she has a major advantage: flying.

1) Raven many times showed that she can put a shield to protect herself, she could levitate away from the attack, or just vanish and then re-appear where Azula doesn't expect her. Not to mention (depends on the battlefield) Raven could also use her powers to direct a large portions of water from a nearby source (lake, river etc.) to extinguish Azula's flames. Raven's magic is rather vast when it comes to fighting, and not always it's just telekinesis that she uses.
2) Through grabbing her and then letting Azula taste the "Darkness" (Raven did that with Dr Light, when she had a small problem with the demonic part of her personality she got from her father Trigon - Cyborg and BB wandered inside her mind/soul/whatever and helped her deal with it). Even such a nutcase as Azula wouldn't be able to withstand this, especially that after Raven restrains her, then the princess won't have any mobility needed to firebend (only Iroh and later Ozai were able to breath fire, the younger of brothers thanks to the power of Sozin's Comet). Once Raven grabs her with those dark tentacles, it's game over for Azula.
3) Knowledge of firebending. Raven is a mystic, and they always seek new ideas, old spells, ancient manuscripts, anything that helps them learn about more or less everything. I think that some precious scrolls from library (or all of them) of the Fire Lord would be a sufficient reward for Raven.
4) If Azula was able to keep cool during the battle and somehow surprise Raven, then I think she could have a chance to win. However, as opposite to Raven, Azula is too ambitious, proud and cruel to ever consider that someone could be better than her in anything. Therefor if she's just like in the show, then I don't see her winning.
