Description
Idea is mine, though based on the Tournament of Mortals.This TOM fight is brought to you by Superpowered girls with daddy issues.
Princess Azula: Born into the lap of luxury, Azula not only believes she will rule the world, she expects it. Years spent with her twisted father have warped her into a cruel, sadistic, and powerful girl. She will do whatever it takes to win, and whatever it takes to gain the power she feels she deserves.
Raven: Ever since the day she was born, Raven knew one day she would be the cause of great evil, that her demonic father would try and use her as an instrument in his schemes. As if to make up for it, Raven has dedicated her life to protecting others from evil with her fellow Titans; seeking a way to better the world, and to protect it from her father.
Two girls. An arena. One one can survive. One idolized her father, and sought to surpass him. One hated and feared her father, and sought to be nothing like him. One draws her power from fire, the other shadow. Only one of these girls can be--
THE DEADLIEST MORTAL!
Finally, in a classic 'To the Victor Goes the Spoils', after you pick a winner, pick something for them to take from the loser. It may be something as simple as a piece of equipment, to something as complex as a power. I'm just curious what you all would say.

This one is a little more even than people would think.Β Azula's insanity would actually take a toll on Raven due to her empathic abilities.Β That could result in Raven being crippled and Azula getting the win... or Azula turning Raven into a demon and unleashing something that would destroy half the world.

I've never really been impressed with the power levels of the Avatar characters in comparison to other super-powered beings.Β I don't think Azula will present much of a problem for Raven.Β Raven will take from Azula her most valuable possession - her soul.

Azula is a Firebender prodigy, but against Raven, i doubt she'll win.
Raven is the daughter of Trigun. She has wide and long spells, attacks, etc. She can fly, teleport and use her shadow powers to trap her enemies.
Lets not forget one deadly point.
If Raven gets injured and/or angry...her evil side will emerge...and that could be big trouble for poor Azula. For Raven evil side will show her what Evil and Fear is all about. She'll mop the floor with Azula before killing her.
Azula could throw fire and lighting at her...and Raven will just stop them with ease.
So, vote for Raven, for she's half demon.

This is not a cut and dried issue. Raven has more power, overall, by a wide margin. Azula has both more cunning and superior martial arts training. I call distance. At short range, Azula would have the advantage. At med or long range, Raven's superior firepower would eventually win out. Both have been in enough real battles to grasp this, however, so whoever coltrols the field of battle - first and decisively - would probably win this.

I say Raven. Azula's typical mind games wouldn't work since Raven has been subjected to every mind game imaginable by her father, who makes Ozai look like a saint. Azula's fire could keep Raven on her toes, but if she tries lightning, the charge-up will give Raven the opportunity she needs to unleash her full power, which is more versatile than Azula's. Now, if Sozin's Comet was making its pass, I'd hand the victory to Azula since it not only empowers her immensely but also ensure she wouldn't tire out.

The comet wouldn't do Azula any good though, if she can't move, as would quickly be the case with shadow prisons. Totally engulfed in shadow....we know what that does to someone. Azula would be lucky if she loses fast, if it gets drawn out, if she can give raven a challenge, she might not make it out of that fight with her mind intact.

This could actually be an intriguing set up. Raven, for all of her magical might, is the least physically impressive member of the Titans. Which is to say, she has the proportionate strength of an average teenaged girl. If the likes of Robin, Slade and Red X can take her out with little more than martial arts and judicious amounts of cunning, both of which Azula has in spades...Β

I'd hand it to Raven on this, Especially if she went all "demon" on Azula like she did on Dr. Light that one episode which escapes my mind. Raven has no weaknesses to fire, which is Azula's main element of attack.

I want to say Raven, but it has been shown that she can be taken down by skilled martial artist and tacticians, namely Deathstroke, and Azula fits the bill. It should be noted that Raven was raised by pacifist and is constantly struggling with her emotions, even in battle. Because of that she cannot use all of her powers without side effects. Of course Azula likes to push buttons to unhinge people and that could end up backfiring in a major way with Raven, especially if it is Rage who takes control.

Although both were trained from a young age, Azula cannot keep up with Raven's long range magical abilities. Raven also has the advantage of being older, therefor having more training and overall combat experience. Azula's fire was good for keeping Raven on the defensive making it hard to attack using her mantra, but her lightning attack ultimately did her in by taking a few seconds too long to execute, giving Raven the time she needed to complete her transformation into her demon state and eliminate Azula after the attack.

Azula has better Close Range. She has Propulsion. She takes the Mental and Psychological X-Factors.
Raven has better Pre-Battle, Long & Mid Range. She has her Magic and Empathy Manipulation, as well as Defense. She takes the Physical, Preparation, and Energy Potential.

She gets her powers from emotions right so Azula is kind of messed in he mind which would lead to her losing. Azula could probably get Raven pretty pissed off and cause her to go demon mode. Raven can pass through things and Azula won't know what hit her.

Ultimate cat fight, love it, Azula has the elemental factor on her side but Raven's versatile fighting style is gonna make Azula work for it, over all I give the fight to raven, after Azula pissed her off enough she go demon mode and rip her in half, looks like the fire nation has a new empress lol

Raven should win, hands down, no discussion. she beat her father once, and he a hell (literally) of a lot more fire than Azula did, she'd kick that crazy bitch's flaming Ass! (fun fact, did you know that Azula and Raven are voiced by the Same voice actors that did Vicky and Timmy respectively from Fairly odd parents? Grey DeLisle and Tara Strong? so in a way, this is a long time coming! at the end of that day, one shall stand, one shall fall!!!!!!)
