Captain Falcon: An accomplished F-Zero pilot with a reputation as one of the best bounty hunters in the galaxy, Captain Falcon is a deadly fighter on and off the track. Despite his fame (and infamy) as one of the greatest racers and bounty hunters around, Captain Falcon prefers a life of solitude on a chain of islands off the coast of Port Town. Each of his home islands contains a different racetrack, allowing him to keep his racing skills at their peak while remaining relatively safe. His car, every bit as famous as its driver, is the Blue Falcon, a hovercar lovingly cared for able to clock in at ridiculous speeds. Together, no racer can challenge his skills, and no evil do-er can escape justice!

Speed Racer: Professional Racer Gō Mifune aka Speed Racer loves two things in life: Racing, and his family. He drives to prove he is the greatest driver alive, and to avenge what he believes to be the death of his older brother (secretly the mysterious driver Racer X). During several races his life has been put at danger by various villains and criminals seeking to either use the race for their own nefarious ends or to eliminate the troublesome Speed Racer family. Thankfully, Speed has the Mach Five, a tricked out super car armed with various weapons and gadgets to get him past whatever is thrown at him. Combined with his determination and skill, there's no racer Speed cannot defeat!

Now the race is on as two of fiction's greatest racers get ready shift into high gear and blast away from the starting line. Will the Captain defeat the Racer? Is the Mach Five's gadgets enough to best the high tech of the Blue Falcon? These two seek to race for personal glory and justice, not evil, but now they must prove one and for all who is the better racer! This is it ladies and gentlemen, the race of a lifetime!
