Why hasn't science developed suits that give us superpowers yet? Or at the very least make us sound like James Earl Jones! *Sigh* Until then though...Darth Vader: A powerful Sith Darth Vader proudly embraces the Dark Side as he serves under the evil Emperor Palpatine to crush all resistance and subjugate the galaxy.
Iron Man: A brilliant scientist, Tony Stark originally designed his suit to keep himself alive. Later, he would use it fight crime and protect the world with fellow heroes: The Avengers.
So in this battle of armor coated warriors; who shall you choose: The Sith or the Scientist? The Force or the Power Gauntlets? The Lightsaber or the Repulsor Rays? Only you can decide...
WHO! IS! DEADLIEST!

With prep time? Tony.
He'll find a way to make lightsaber resistant armor. Plus evaluate and test different tactics and weapons. Ambush Vader with heavy firepower before he can use force powers.
Without prep time? Vader.
Tony has no defense against a lightsaber. If he tries to get close to brawl, he'll get chopped to pieces. His only option is to keep his distance and blast Vader with repulsors and projectiles, which Vader can block or redirect. And with no defense or experience against force powers. He'll be taken completely by surprise by it. It's hard to fight when you're be asphyxiated by force choke. Which is Vader's signature move.

Tony was able to fight Thor to a stalemate but Vader could slice through Tony's armour or use the force to crush him, and Tony has nothing in his arsenal to fight the force so it would have to be the sith lord Darth Vader Β q the vader theme song

I must admit personal bias when I vote for Vader. Tony Stark's behavior in the Marvel Civil War and its aftermath- particularly the way he stole Thor's identity and then gave it to the clone that MURDERED Goliath (Bill Foster), and then the outright disrespect he showed the REAL and recently returned Thor- still poisons my opinion of him.

How Iron Man's armor is equipped with a telepathic nullifier device so Vader's Mind tricks would be unless, Iron Man's Force Field would be able to withstand Vader's lightsaber and Iron Man has a healing factor due to ejaculating himself with the extremis virus that rivals Wolverine and has since then been upgraded so Vader's using the force to kill him would work.

No, that is incorrect. AΒ lightsaber can and will cut through anything that's not Duraplast, Phirk, Cortosis, or Mandalorian Iron. Yes, but even if Iron Man uses that healing factor, Vader wouldn't just stand there and slice his arm off, he would proceed to knock down his armor, crushing it.
You also underestimate the power of the Force. Vader can easily suspend Iron Man and hold him from rocketing away. He could use Force Deflect to return Iron Man's projectile shots. He could use the Force to mindscrew him. Force Fear would do it, driving him insane. Force Choke is a thing too. Force Crush as well. Whether crushing his insides or his armor with it, Iron Man wouldn't have a chance against Vader.

Vader would easily mindrape him, or destroy his inner organs with a force crush, his armor won't protect him from that

If you look at it, tony is about the same as a dark trooper, which will being being very anti infantry, means nothing to Vader since he can just crush the suit around him

Unless Tony can develop some Force/Light saber resistant tech (he can develop a resistance to the mind invasion, I believe it's happened before? And there are organisms that can withstand a lightsaber blow so developing armor to resist one isn't entirely impossible...), then I would say that he has a pretty good chance. But, if he fights him as is, I would have to go with Vader. I'm not sure how much mental strength Tony has (I'm fairly sure it would be quite considerable), but the feats that Vader would be able to pull off while manipulating the force, well, I'm not sure that Tony would be able to withstand that kind of power :/Β

Damn it! Two awesome warriors pitted against each other. One who uses the force and a lightsaber known to cut through metal. One who uses a suit of armor with an arsenal of weapons! That can FLY!

As much as I love iron man, I can see Vader winning without breaking a sweat. He can use his light-saber to deflect his lasers, the force to counter his missiles, and then simple force crush him into a tuna can.Β

Well Iron Man's suit is more of a defense then Vader's; but I would think the Force would provide a more versatile weapon then Uni-Beams and Missiles. Whether the Arc Reactor is stronger then Vader's will is up for debate.

Really ? One shot from a blaster bolt and he gets trough Stark's armor like a hot knife trough butter. Vader's armor defends himself from Blaster bolts.

i sometimes see people put darth vader against someone like doctor doom which i admit would be a good death battle, even though i know really little about doctor doom,how about you how do you think a fight like that would go

It's hard to know how a fight like that would go, because Doctor Doom is a rather inconsistent character, who's powers and abilities vary from story to story. Sometimes he's a scientist, sometimes he knows archane magic, sometimes both. I suppose I may give it to Doom for durability and flexibility of power.

This depends really. Does this Tony have the extremis virus running through his veins? If so, then Tony would win by taking control of Vader's cybernetics. If not? Then Vader would win easily.

I honestly don't know. I bounce back and forth on the issue. Sometimes I think that the Force ultimately trumps the suit... but then I think that the Repulsor Beams and missiles could take down Vader.
So, I honestly don't know.

Did you even SEE what happened to him in Episode 6 when Vader became Anakin Skywalker again and saved his son from the Emperor's Force Lightning? His suit got short-circuited when the lightning hit him! Shortly after that, Anakin/Vader died because of that malfunction.
