Description
And now we take a closer look at one of the battles sure to be taking place in the Planetary Conquest war of the Tyranids and the CIS.Durge: A bounty hunter with over 2,000 years of experience, Durge is damn near immortal thanks to his Gen'Dai heritage and enhanced battle armor. Everything from stab wounds to explosions to being buried alive (for 60 years) seems to just roll off him.
One Eye: A unique Tyranid Carnifex with the ability to regenerate itself from mortal wounds. Its body bears the scars of many blows that should have killed it, and rumors persist among Imperial forces of Old One Eye being killed more than a dozen times.
Now these two warriors, armed with healing factors that would make Wolverine look like a school-girl will face each other in a battle that might last damn near forever. Can the bounty hunter put down a mark that's as durable as he is? Will the claws of Old One Eye have any effect on a man who refuses to stay dead? I don't know, but as long as this fight will surely prove to be, we have all the time in the world to decide...
WHO! IS! DEADLIEST!
The war has begun... now where do you stand?

If one eye has such amazing healing powers how did it lose its eye in the first place? Shouldn't a new one have grown?

If I'm not mistaking, the shot that made Old-One-Eye loose its eye also hit his brain while burning a part of its skull. The fact that its brain was partially damaged probably made its regenerating factor prioritize the repairing of the brain while it was still possible, and therefore its eye was never repaired since there wasn't anything left of it to regenerate when the damages to the brain had been taken care of.
Of course I'm just speculating but I think it makes sense.

I'm not sure, it's never really explained. I imagine it's the same logic behind why Deathstroke never grew his eyeball back.

Maybe Deathstroke got his healing powers AFTER he lost his eye?

Hmm Durge might actually win this one, the one thing that I can see REALLY fucking up Durge is the fact that OOE is a carnifex, and those tend to spit huge balls of plasma, and as much as I love Durge, he DID get killed by plasma in the end(he was thrown into a star)

Gotta give it to Durge... he's a living tank that destroys everything and everyone that gets in his way.

I'm rather partial to Durge myself. He's got Wolverine healing plus a lot of high tech weapons and gadgets. While OOE is bigger, Durge is better prepared.

You can't dismiss Old One-Eye's Healing though, since in the canon he recovered from a direct Hellstorm hit (a gun that is used to destroy Titans) in a matter of minutes. Also none of Durges weaponry is designed to take out a 30 ton walking engines of raw destruction.
In my mind this is a tossup, these two would be at it indefinitely.

If this matchup would happen during a planetary invasion, it would probably go like this:
Durge would fire all his weaponry, while Old One Eye would charge him, only to see all the damage being healed almost instantly. Then he would grin, sice he would finally have found a worthy adversary and throw himself at the monster with the savagery that can only come from a very long lifetime of boredom, while Old One Eye would happily rampage on.
After a few hours of this spectacle the Tyranid Prime in an unheard of gesture, would talk to the Droid general and they would agree to reconvene tomorrow to continue the invasion, after having cordoned off the area, since these two are probably going to be occupied for a while... say a century or two.
Honestly: supercharged Regeneration and a lust for killing vs. supercharged Regeneration and a lust for killing.
These two could be at it indefinitely. Grab me some Pop-Corm would you please?

If One Eye eats the bounty hunter, does that count? And what about reinforcements?

I'll go with Durge since even Nid players admit that Old One Eye is useless.

Has One-Eye ever officially died? I know the only way Durge stayed down was when Obi-Wan launched him into a star.

Thus far, One-Eye is MIA, presumed dead.
That being said, I'll have to go with Durge on this one. Unless he doesn't have his weapons, to which I say "this will never end."

"And as a bonus I get to kill four of you today. Add that to the Gungans I already murdered, the hostages I'm going to kill later, and all the Naboo who will die tomorrow, and it's a damn good week."- Durge
Go Durge!

One eye for now Is actually able to be replcated by several hive fleets and that's why he is able to be used as a choice in any army and of course that he has been spotted on several planets.
Orginial might be dead though. What dmg output has this Durge since it won't take too much to put down a carnifex, it's scary but not that scary even with great reg.

Well, it's over four years late but Dirge has been shot, stabbed, buried for sixty years, slashed, immolated, decapitated, eviscerated and blown to hundreds of pieces from the inside by Obi-Wan. It took being shot out of an air lock into a sun to finally kill him, though there is speculation that pieces of him survived long enough to be recovered and put back together into some shoddy wanna-be Durge but the lore isn't quite verified on that account.
