Description
Idea is mine, though based on the Tournament of Mortals.Doomsday: Corrupted Kryptonian DNA, experimented to the point of no return. Doomsday is practically destruction given form. He will kill all that he sees, never resting or stopping
Spawn: Former government hitman, Spawn is a demonically empowered super-solider fighting the powers of heaven and hell alike. He has battled devils, and toppled gods. With magic limited only to his imagination, there are few who can match Spawn in battle.
Now these two will face each other in the ring! Doomsday has managed to best the likes of Superman in the bast, but can he stop this agent of Hell and all his magic? And while Spawn has taken down many challenging foes, can he best a monster that will only get stronger as the battle rages? Only time will tell as both sides unleash everything they've got in order to become...
THE DEADLIEST MORTAL!
Finally, in a classic 'To the Victor Goes the Spoils', after you pick a winner, pick something for them to take from the loser. It may be something as simple as a piece of equipment, to something as complex as a power. I'm just curious what you all would say.

Omega Spawn can win this.
But Spawn doesn't really have any way to deal with DD, aside from keeping him trapped on another dimension, which might not work.

Spawn might win this with his impressive magical abilities. I don't think Doomsday can adapt to magic, as due to him being part kryptonian, it's one of his main weaknesses.

This is gonna be a tough one for spawn, he's gonna get a major power boost from doomsday's bloodthirst but after that initial boost that's it, doomsday on the other hand will continue to become stronger while not giving spawn anymore of a boost andeventually will counteract the boost entirely until finally he adapts to become a holy weapon and punched a hole in spawn

Hmm intresting, since Spawn, can't be killed except by various hell & heaven based forces.
Plus he'd have plenty of sin to feed from, given doomsday is a killing machine.
I guess it boils down to, what is the extent of Spawn's shapeshifting & magical powers? (i mean since it regular spawn, not godly spawn.. since he surrended that power)
I think we could have Tie situation here.Β UnlessΒ Doomsday's adaptive anatomy can mimic holy magic.
Spawn would just heal from anything Doomsday dishes
Doomsday would not even be significantly damaged.
I mean i guess if really had to pick a winner at a real push ..... SPAWN
here's why:
1. he can fly/teleport & alter-mater....... so it with in possibility he could take doomsday into space, and say throw him into a blackhole.... orΒ do the planet supplex superman did... since Spawn is a demon, he doesn't need to breathe and it his symbiotic suit is strong enough to protect him from the vacum & other hazards of space)
2. he can open portals to heaven and hell... extra planar dimensional realms.... which doomsday would not beable to escape from unaided.... so spawn could take him to hell & leave him there... not easy but do able)

Spawn's got nothing that Doomsday can't get back up from. If Darkseid can't put Doomsday down, neither can Spawn. As far as I know Spawn isn't even a planetbuster, and Doomsday shrugs off planetbusting attacks like a light rain.

Spawn is a master of magic, unlike Superman, which is significant because Doomsday is weak to magic due to being part Kryptonian

Doomsday actually isn't weak to magic, thanks to his adaptive abilities. If Doomsday gets nailed by any form of magic even if it manages to hurt him, he will instantly adapt. On top of this, Doomsday's got massively high speed regeneration. So even IF Spawn manages to wound Doomsday, Doomsday will essentially, instantaneously heal from it and be immune to it the second time around.
Also, it's been shown more and more that Kryptonians can overcome their vulnerability to magic. Superman himself has taken magical blasts that can destroy planets and been able to keep fighting, so I'd wager Doomsday could do the same. Not that it even matters, since Spawn's not a planetbuster.
And as an added note, Doomsday's beaten magic users before, like Captain Marvel. Magic isn't a weakness of Doomsday.Β

yeah Doomsday is literally the greatest thing that DC has ever done, especially since he puts the red thonged Mary Sue in his place but when you've kicked the shit out of both God and the Devil and taken their thrones you're basically the king of everything
Spawn is the ultimate character and he earned it

If you look up Spawn you know that God and Satan in Spawn universe is nowhere as powerful as some like The Presence in DCU but closer to Highather and Darkseid, who Doomsday kicked the shit out the latter.

Except this isn't God empowered Spawn, where he became a universe-level reality warper. Much like how we don't assume Alucard is after he's absorbed Schrodinger.
This is base Spawn.
And base Spawn doesn't have a single move that can even slow Doomsday down, let alone kill him, while Doomsday's overpowered even Superman. Spawn fights on a timer, and has finite reserves of strength, Doomsday's are infinite.
And on your last note, if you think Spawn at the pinnacle of his power is the strongest character out there, you clearly haven't looked very hard. There's even things /in/ Spawn's universe that are stronger than him at the pinnacle of his strength.

i meant by the end of his series when he had conquered heaven and hell and could do anything with his magic, i didn't mean physical power
and now that i know it's base Spawn i'm leaning more towards Doomsday

Yeaah. If it was max-power Spawn debates with him aren't fun, since it means you basically have to be throwing guys like the Beyonder at him to give him a decent fight.
And that's just no fun, since all you're doing is arguing who blinks the other out of reality first.
