Idea is mine, though based on the Tournament of Mortals.

Thor: The God of Thunder, Thor wields the mighty hammer Mjolnir, and fights to keep the world safe from harm from alien overlords, magical conquerors, and everything in between. And with his incredible strength, weather powers, and nigh-invulnerability, he's been doing a pretty good job of it.

Spawn: Former government hitman, Spawn is a demonically empowered super-solider fighting the powers of heaven and hell alike. He has battled devils, and toppled gods. With magic limited only to his imagination, there are few who can match Spawn in battle.

Now these two will face each other in the arena. Will the God of Thunder triumph over Hell's General? Will the Hitman's demonic might best the Hammer-Swinger? Both have faced gods, demons, and abominations beyond mentioning. Both wield incredible power. Neither are going to surrender. But only one of them can become...

THE DEADLIEST MORTAL!

Finally, in a classic 'To the Victor Goes the Spoils', after you pick a winner, pick something for them to take from the loser. It may be something as simple as a piece of equipment, to something as complex as a power. I'm just curious what you all would say.
