Heavy should take this with good difficulty.
He's far stronger. He lifted a giant bear and tossed it over his head in a suplex and can injure people like Soldier with his strikes. Soldier's like a damn unkillable zombie.
Both are pretty slow, but Zarya seems to suffer less from lack of speed, so she takes this one. Not by much though.
Durability is close but that should be Heavy's too. Scout, the weakest class, took 3 rockets. Imagine what Heavy could take.
Weaponry is where things get interesting. If only limited to his stock arsenal, then Zarya has the edge due to her shield and stream of damage. If Heavy gets his whole loadout, however, he takes this in spades. He's got something to counter everything Zarya has. Speed boosts, more damage, more durability etc. Even with Zarya's black hole ultimate. Which Heavy could very well survive. Overall, if Heavy doesn't get gimped by lack of weapons, he should win with better strength, durability and arsenal.

If we give Heavy his entire arsenal, including magic and the MVM canteens and take his feats from the Halloween updates, then I think he can win. But with only his guns, sandviches, and fists, it'd be a pretty tough call considering Zarya has that haxxy bubble shield of her's, and considering Heavy can heal himself and increase his striking power with the Steak Sandvich.

Tough call indeed...

I have to say Zarya here, no doubt.  Reason being?  Heavy's gun shoots fast, right?  Weeeell that plays to his disadvantage along with his lack of awareness during battle for you see, Zarya's bubble shield, whenever it gets hit, increases her damage output.  This will allow Zary to move in closer, increase in power, have better access to her ultimate, and at that point, she'd be able to mop the floor with Misha(yes, that's his original name in the comics).  But don't get me wrong, I WANT Heavy to win!  But from the stats, it is what it is.

Heavy Weapons Guy. He has a "finger gun" that insta-kills people. Not to mention his Sandvich that heals all damage he's taken. He also has crit canteens from mvm, uber canteens from mvm, spell books from merasmus... (some of the spells are bs like spawning a giant eye ball that shoots rockets...)

OK, since I have less knowledge on Zarya, I still think she has an advantage
her case being that her weapon is a freaking laser gun that can also be a grenade launcher
can pop up a sheild
...the black hole don't do that much  damage (just luring enemies out is her case)

for heavy, yeah he is a good DPS tank, (but better if he had uber)
but he can only regain health with a sandwich/fish cake/chocolate bar
^this could be an advantage to survive against the shield

I can't say much with his fist since him and Zarya are probably even on these terms

I'm not sure on which will win since the main winner here is a survivor
Zarya can just pop a shield but it could break at some point

Heavy do the same with his sandwich from all the damage, but requires time to eat it (aka, needs a place to cover)

but like I said, Zarya has an advantage on keeping the damage going (especially that black hole deal)
