consider this: for whatever reason, lavender's got thomas in some basement in the city. the detective and his investigative team knows their general location so they move in to rescue thomas, and nico sneakily tags along because of course he does. the cops arent looking in quite the right place, but nico's knack for snooping leads him down to the right room in the right basement in the right building. good for him! :o)this is just a 2-part thing unless one of yall wants to write a longer script for me lol
