The red of this ladybug against the green if the ferns feels a bit like a drop of energy showing that the forest is alive. I'm not sure if that was your intention when you took the picture but it is a very striking impression! The ladybug is off center, so the eye turns toward it and lines up with the focus of the image nicely. The ladybug has some highlights on it, so it isn't just red but happened to catch some light on what looks like a cloudy day or shady place. This is nice to see because it shows more than just an interesting spot of red against green--it also has depth. You also have taken the photo from an angle where the viewer is not looking down at the ladybug but is looking at it from a less severe angle allowing the ladybug's legs, antennae and eyes to be seen. I kind of want to see a bit more light around the ladybug, but conditions when shooting outside are out of the photographer's control and you did very well with what nature gave you when you took this picture. Great job and keep it up!!

This is definitely my favourite of your works! I think it looks like a professional photographer took this. I like the contrast of the colors and that there's almost no other color except for green and red. Also the focus is awesome, if this would be a black and white picture, I think the ladybug would still be a big eyecatcher because of the great focus. You did an awesome job on this, keep up the great work!
