Wow, didn't see the Hellcat until someone asked... that bird's kinda out of place in England, isn't she?

There is something about lineups.... Planes (or anything set in line) look noble and there's this air of power though they are standing still. It's like an army on a hill just before a battle.

I want the P-39 Airacobra at the back.Could really dish out some 'justice' with that 37mm cannon in the nose. Of course they fly a bit funny but hey if you know the plane then you don't have to worry to much about its unique problems. Either way great photo.
I kind of wish we could get more classic airshows back here in the states that operated out of grass fields.

one year we had like 9 mustangs buzzing over head with 9 spitfires, it was truely awesome. You ever get to England, make it in July, the Flying Legends airshow is the best, they put up everything at the end of the show, its a mass of WWII British and American planes, its awesome

I'll keep that in mind. I do want to come over there at some point, just don't know when I'll have time
Sounds like an awesome show.

Problem was getting out of it in a hurry and its funny little quirks thanks to the mid mounted engine. Still their great planes, wish there were more of them flying out there.

Is that a thunderbolt between the warhawk and the airacobra?

I see four P-51's, one P-40 maybe, one P-39 down on the end, and one more that I can't tell what it is, second from the end...
