Chapter 1

Josh's POV

~

I looked at the pictures on my bedside table. There were two of them. One of my family and me, taken last summer, and one of...him.

I picked up his picture and stared at it. God I missed him.

In the picture, he had is bangs in his eyes, and was covering most of his face with his hand. He didnt like having his picture taken. He thought he was ugly. Right after I took that picture. He said to me, "Stop taking my picture. I'm ugly anyway." I the wrapped my arms around him and kissed his forehead. I said, "Your beautiful baby, Never think otherwise.

The picture is of my boyfriend, Apollo. I love him so much.

...He went missing 2 years ago.

He had been walking home from the movies. We had been on a date. I offered to give him bus money, but he said it was a nice evening and he liked walking. So I said goodbye, kissed him, and went to go catch my bus.

I found out the next morning that Apollo had never gotten home. His parents, my parents, and myself, went looking for him. After a few hours of finding nothing we called the police. They helped us look, still nothing.

After a few days, they said it was useless for us to keep looking for him. There was a 95% chance he had been stolen...and was now dead. After they told us that, I cried for four days. I ran all over the city looking for him. Screaming his name. Listening for him yelling back.

Sometimes I will think I see him in a crowd. Its never him though. The police tell me I need to consider him dead. I can't do that. I will never belive he is dead til I have his lifeless body infront of me. Until then, I'm never going to give up hope.
