Older piece for a t-shirt, got sick of seeing so called "punk" t-shirts being sold by jeans west, etc.punkfu shirt
Apparently CAFEPRESS have recieved a few complaints about the shirt from "disturbed" viewers that found it offensive.

I love this picture but I have like a hate-love relationship with the term 'punk'.
It is a lifestyle but there are alot of people that just ride with the 'lifestyle' for a while then just drop it and become preps. Then there are those who just 'Oh I pick on weaker kids, read depressing vamp books and write dark poetry! I'm so punk and badass!' And some punks may or may not do this type of things but at least they don;t announce it y'know? I don;t like referring to myself as punk even though I do have some 'punk' qualities but the ones that do broadcast it really annoy me...You kind of displayed what I feel in this print. Thanks!

That's way too expensive for a REAL punk shirt.

That's the base price that CafePress sell them for. If you know of a cheaper online store that requires no payment for a "store-front" and can print one-offs on demand, by all means let me know.

Punk confuses me. This isnβt the punk I see everyday, even by the punks who accuse others of being posers.
I find this funny actually, because that would mean Iβm probably more punk those Rancid/Pistol/Ramones/[insert punk band name here] t-shirt wearing stoners who hang around the corner of my house smoking pot all day, blasting punks songs full volume, skating, and laughing at me for being a fan of bands who have platinum-selling records and not adorned in punk accessories. In fact, I dress βnormallyβ.
Meh, I agree with it though. Iβm not punk (although I listen to a healthy dose of punk), but I support and appreciate the true punk sentiments. I really appreciate this statement, made me feel I did something productive today.

punk isnt about wearing converse, skulls, and all black. it's about being whoever you want to be, wearing whatever you want to, and rebelling against the fcked up world. JELLO QUOTE TIME:

I fully agree with that quote. Withdrawing from society or saying "these people aren't worth my time explaining things to" is simply a different kind of snobery, it means we feel high n mighty but nothing really changes. I spent a lot of years saying "this is fucked" without having an alternative, now I still say the first part but work on the second as well, thru thought, music and action.
As CRASS said ([link] ), and it's a strange analogy, but in martial arts you do not aim at the brick and focus on the brick, you aim and focus on the point past it and that is the mistake many of us make I think, as punks, activists, anarchists, etc. In essence, "fuck the brick, the police, society, government & opposition, we know what needs to happen, what needs to change and where we need to be & that is our focus, that is what we are aiming at. We will not make the object the focus of our energy, we will go straight through any obstacle in the way, our focus will be the point beyond the brick.
Or in The Matrix terms, do not bend the spoon, bend the world and ignore the spoon.
To me, Punk is a way of saying "I do not agree with your system you will know that by my music, words, culture & ideas, my outside and my inside. Since i was not asked if I wanted to take part in this system or if I agreed with it, i will not ask your permission when i change it. And I WILL change it."

Howdy Stranger.
I'm new to dev. art, and though I wouldn't call myself punk, I'm supportive of the punk movement. Avoiding work on my history paper, I typed "punk" in the search bar, expecting to find a bunch of tards dressed in green day merch and spikey hair. But then I found this. I have to give props for this, it's a great piece. Keep up the good work...
