Description
well, here's my first tutorial. hopefully some of you will find this useful. if you do, let me know in a comment, or fave it. i might put together another one at some point.stock used: ~suicide-stock
- edit -
this has been up almost two days, and i can't believe no one's mentioned my misspelling of "photoshop".
i sometimes refer to photoshop as "shoop", so i thought it'd be funny.

I'm gonna stick with my technique, it's much easier: 1) Buy a rope. 2) Tell the model you're gonna shoot her ass first. 3) Strangle the model until her eyes pop out. 4) Keep the eyeballs, as a ransom, to keep her quiet. 5) When finished, leave her on the sidewalk of a hospital. 6) When you get home add the eyeballs to your collection.

Finally I now know how to do this. I epicly fail at doing this for the simple fact that I select the whole eye, colour it black and put in white highlights. It just fails but I didn't know any other way.

scaryjesus In reply to Invader-Zero [2007-12-15 12:42:41 +0000 UTC]
lol@epicly fail
that's another way you can do it. i think i've done it that way a few times myself. it's just tricky to get it to look realistic. using the burn tool on the whole eye is pretty effective, as it usually leaves the highlights there.
tho when i do make highlights from scratch, it still gives me problems, lol.

I didn't do good. XP
How did you manage to make the eyes so black without looking so fake?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
scaryjesus In reply to awshroom [2007-11-21 12:15:28 +0000 UTC]
i just used the burn tool.
when you select it, make sure the range is set to 'shadows', and the exposure is 100%. then just repeatedly burn the eye. if you burn the eyelids, just use the history brush to fix'em.
also, most of the natural eyeball highlight (that wet look) should still be there after the burn tool.
