Gojira, also known now as Godzilla, is an ancient beast made to destroy the enemies of his creators, but who became the death of the civilization that created him.

The Vuh, an old, only recently discovered people who were incredibly technologically advanced but violent and warlike. Always striving to create more and more vicious and powerful weapons of war, they inevitably turned to the animal kingdom to create the ultimate biological weapon. A monster, the likes of which had never been seen in either the flesh or in nightmares.

This would be their own death.

Gojira broke from their control as soon as he was "born", feeding himself on the energy of their cities, leaving them in the dark before he lit them again with his white-hot blue flames. In the end, they were able to seal him away, destroying a mountain to bury him.

He slept there for centuries, before being discovered again by an archeological dig. They had uncovered the dirt encrusted spines of the monster, and were trying to find what they might be attached to. Such a beast would make them all famous, to be sure.

Just not the way they thought.

He woke, smelling or sensing the presence of the electrical generators, bursting out of the ground and draining them of their power. It wasn't enough to sate him after his long sleep, and so he went searching for more, heading straight towards the nearest city. Jets were scrambled and sent to stop him, and in the state he was in, the attack from the tiny planes stung more than they should. So he turned and fled into the ocean.

As the military looked in vain for him, baffled that they could lose such a huge creature, he surged ashore next to a nuclear powerplant, draining it's energy in minutes. This time, when the jets came after him, he had a surprise. His "batteries" restored, the bright blue flames poured from his jaws, melting the planes in the air and leaving smouldering metal puddles on the ground.

The monster rampaged through several cities unchecked, draining all the electrical energy from them, before he was finally satisfied. Bellowing in satisfaction, he once again retreated into the sea, falling into another long sleep on the bottom of a deep trench.

The world waits until he is hungry again.

Holy shit, that's terrible. It's so much better in my head-I can't write for shit. Ahh, well, at least it's something.

Ok, this is for 's contest for a Godzilla redesign. We were told to do "Whatever you want with him."
