Yeah, I scanned a bunch of stuff today. I'm only going to upload three today, though. I'm spacing it out.

(ps. Garm is a dog, not a wolf. Not a big deal, but still. Dog. And dads scanner doesn't like red, so he looks pink. -_- )

Scanner issues aside, this is flat-out killer. Garm's snarling mug is recognizably canine (even the ears seem more foxlike than feline); the dorsal/cranial/joint-spikes & talons are rendered with your customary intricacy; the build balances power & grace with aplomb; and that fine fuzz fringe lining the tail's underside provides still more exquisite detail. Ah, and that blotchy color contrast is a thing of beauty, rare as that may be among daikaiju...then again, that's in the beholder's eye, is it not?

Thank you very much! I'm so glad that the washed-out, scanner induced pink doesn't kill the pic, and that he actually looks like a dog this time!

Ahh, you like his coat, then? I'm glad! I think alot of Kaiju are fairly beautiful, in their own way.
But I'm a little weird, so, grain of salt and all that. XD

You don't see many FUZZY monsters and it is a true shame. I always loved the canine-feline-esque King Ceasar (Though some think hes a tiger, others a dog, I think hes a bit of both, considering the ears, he acts dorky like a dog, but has alot of cat qualities too... ah mystical creatures!)

Yeah. Considering that Shiisa in general refers more to dogs with manes (go figure) I always figured him to be a dat, or a cog. xD

Thank you! I suppose it is, but it's just that the red I used is very dark, so I have no idea why the scanner made it pink.

I can't help but laugh at the pinkness but he's awesome here as always. I've been thinking of potential canine kaiju to put into my own kaiju infested universe. Have to say that this guy was a major inspiration for that thought. I got a back log of original monsters right now but requests come first...

Sorry, off track there. Anyway, I hope you find a better scanner next time, he just doesn't look right in those colors .

I know, he looks really funny. I'm thinking of going down to dads when my step mother is there, because she can work the scanner better. Maybe she can fix it.

Hopefully it has a decent amount of color adjustment on it. Most scanners allow you to tinker with them a bit before they scan an image.

Good luck getting Garm to his rightful colors .
