Added 8/9/08Is this concidered Digital work? Ahh, whatever.
Some swords from Drakan: TAG, made in Paint. A giant pain in the butt, but it was fun anyway.

Oh man, I know that feeling. I had to sit in front of the tv for about an hour looking at these, lol, just so i could get them as right as possible in paint. XD

I haven't played this game in ages.
No doubt one of my favorite games on the PS2. Right up there with Monster Hunter.

True. I'm going to be doodling up some Drakan stuff, soon, hopefully. <3 I'm excited. I haven't played the game in YEARS. But now I'm totally stuck. I have yet to meet General Dehrimon, but I've already opened the gates in Ravenshold, I've been through the Grull's Camp but it won't clear it on the quest thingy, and I've gotten the "Ashes of a fallen warrior" but don't know what to do next. =_= So I started over.

May be a dumb question, but in the Grull camp, did you grab the Blood of a Pagan Altar there? That should clear it.
Anyway, sucks having to start over like that, but at least the game is awesome enough to play again.

o_O I didn't even see that. Now I feel stupid. Lol, when I get there again I'll have to check it out. I'm going back and doing some stuff I missed in Surdana right now, like killing the Necromancer. The one thing I remember from years ago and am not looking forward to is the flesh mage. He creeps me out. -shiver-

Killing the Necromancer is one of my favorite missions. The reward for doing it is pretty awesome, and I think it's fun to boot.

It scared the buhjeezus out of me. I wasn't expecting the bridge to be zapped by lightning, causing me to fall to a horrible death. xD Although, it isn't the only bridge in the game that collapses, and it did look broken, so I suppose I should have figured it out beforehand.

Haha, so am I. I just hate how freakin' long it takes to save. The one downfall of Drakan besides the glitches. I had the best glitch ever. I went into this big cave with Arokh, but there was nothing in there, so I jumped down into some water, which just led me outside. I had to swim quite aways to get back on land. I called Arokh, like, 20 times, but he never came. Then, I remembered he was in the cave and was probably stuck. I ran all the way back, and I walk in and he keeps repeating, "I can't fly here! I can't fly here. I can't fly here!" It was hilarious. I have a recording on my phone.

Lol, yep, that's one of the big glitches there. If you go through a cave that leads to a new area without Arokh, and it prompts you to save and you do, you lose the dragon and the game is unbeatable as a result. XD
One of the funnier ones is Zombie Trogs. You kill a Trog, and it starts to go into the death animation and it's eyes stop glowing, but he gets stuck standing. XD

That happened to me! I could walk through it, lol. And the eyes didn't stop glowing, they somehow ended up by his feet. xD

Ever had a Wartock make his death cry, but not fall over? And his head still follows you when you move around? That's some funny stuff, there. XD

I have played Drakan The order of the Flame , and i liked the game very much ..
So is this something like drakan 2?Anyways.. Is there a place i can download the game for PC?

Sadly, Drakan: The Ancients Gates was only for PS2, and you can't get it for PC at all.

I recommend it highly, if you can find it. It's more of an action/adventure, but it does have a limited level system. As you level up, you get points. You can put the points in three categories-Melee, Archery, or Magic. The higher the points in a category, the better weapons, bows, or magic you can use.
It's lot of fun, really-it's the only game I've ever played over 10 times.

Well, I like the Lightning Blade, the Wyverns Claw, the Tick and Bitter Touch the most.
And of course the Mournbringer, which is the one you get for gathering all the Elemental Blades. That thing owns. XD

i like the lighting blade, Wyverns Claw and the earth blade too...
I would tell you my other favorites but my PS2 DIED! -points at it-
Man, i was so close to getting that blade too, i was only a few steps away and then of all times the power went out... what are the chances or that?!!?! D8 and what does that blade do? like is it all the elements or what?

The earth Blade is pretty sweet, too-I just like purple more than green. XD
The Mournbringer doesn't really DO anything like the Elemental Blades do, the fire and lightning attacks and such-it's just really powerful, and it heals you when it hits an enemy-like the Tick does, only you get a lot more health.
It's also black, and has glowing red runes on it. >D
