This is beautiful and disturbing at the same time. It reminds me of waking up from a dream or nightmare and rushing to begin drawing or painting before the idea evaporates. The delicate pattern on the sheet was a lovely touch.

Well perhaps I'm the only one to notice that isn't the heart being pulled out. The highlights on the flesh indicate clearly that the fingers are clutched around the peeled back skin. none the less, i think it's fantastic

i love these (this and the previous one you uploaded) so much! i agree the textured paper makes the work so much richer and so real! it gives the skin such a tactile look, like it's really skin! absolutely amazing!!!

Hummm, interesting take on a vampire/incubus. He appears to be taking the heart from the head...there is so much that could be said about *that* LOL!! I really like the texture...is that the paper, or something you did? I ask because it doesn't appear to be all over the piece...anyway, it really adds to the piece. I love the expression on the upper figure's face

The texture is all natural, it's how that sheet pf paper actually look like - and it is more "texturized" near the edge. Its handmade and those hands definitely did their best to make it look weird

It is very remarkable - there're no 2 pages that would look the same and the texture is individual in each case. Sometimes I feel that its not me drawing on that piece of paper but it's me developing the image that lives inside the page, like a photography.
