Description Not much of a surrealism perhaps, but it still is intended to be a man on fire.

I don't know why but it reminds me of those pictures drawn by eyewitnesses of WW2. People were burned alive in concentration camps or in their own houses and all that was left of them was anonymous drawings. It's a sad part of history...

I think this is a very powerful image

Great to see more submissions... although it's kinda scary to stumble across when your tabbing through Firefox after opening all new submissions in your watch list. D:

I believe you don't die instantly when set on fire. It takes some time. I bet it feels like eternity.

The picture itself is a metaphor anyways. It matters not what is drawn, the only thing that counts in the meaning behind the picture. thats the real question you should ask yourself: what do I see here?

This is so harrowing.
Well done especially on that expression.

Sometimes I feel as if I am repeating myself with those expressions though. I have had something fairly similar once. on 'Leave no marks'. Not exactly same, but a little bit like it.

Mybe you need to get it out of your system before you move on to other expressions.
Or something.

I like your style, especially how the erased parts serve as the flames.

Oh it saves so much energy this draw and erase technique. It is very good for hinted lines and shapes.
