Drawing cats is fun. I wanted a picture with different colors of fur (patches) and long hair...so this worked well. It's not really detailed, I probably spent like 4 hours total. This weekend I was really doing well at first and it just sort of went downhill... so I probably didn't spend as much time on this as I should have. Oh well, I guess better to spend the good artistic energy on contest prizes.
pencil, 8.5x11, 4 hours or so.

Oh my gosh, you've changed from horses to cats! (well, it won't be for long) but, still, this is SHWEET! The detail in the fur is better than anything that I could ever dream of doing! And who cares if it's heavily referenced, it's really good!
