I'm dissapointed that I wasn't able to show the fading from dark to light on the leaf as good as it is in the photograph. This is a photo of the painting, since it's too big for my scanner.

For the snow texture, which you can't see unless you look at it in person, I poured salt onto wet ink washes and let it dry, so the salt could absorb the ink and leave a funky texture.

EDIT: Sorry you guys! the pic got resized on accident to only 600 pixels wide! I fixed it, for any of you who like large files.
