Description
Even if someone finally builds a lego hovercar, it is universally a two-seater sporty speeder, without much regard to things as comfort, space or visibility outside. This here was meant to be a four-seater, flying "car of the future".Unfortunately I don't have female head for a minifig. All my female figs are flying starfighters
Anyway, much like in reality, kids make things look messy.

The canopy windscreen is from the Slave 1 set 75060 and is listed as part 16477 16x8x5 shell and it isn't cheap.

I love this! It's very close to what I wanted to design for my Starseeker shuttle.
Could you show us a rear view? (A parts list would be fantastic) I don't believe the "glass" piece is the "canopy windscreen from the Deluxe Slave 1 kit" that Capt. Rico mentions. (Yours doesn't have ridges and and the front edge is more perfectly round.) But, it's the only one I can find on Brick Owl. I'm having trouble with the floor in the front nose. There are no 2x3 tiles and the central piece suggests a half space offset. The bottom row of nose bricks are sideways and don't seem to connect to the second row. The side door does not appear to be hinged and must be attached directly to a black base plate. (???) The panel behind the door does not connect to the upper white wall. The lower back section turns sideways again. (Cool! The control in his hand is a white hand - a mechanical arm attaches it to the bar plate.)
Scharnvirk -- Does this all really connect or am I wasting my time (and money on parts) trying to figure it out?
This is perfect for a space station to planet surface transport. I also need a sleek racing ship that seats 3-4 with a gunnery turret on top - pivoting laser cannons. The green LEGO Star Wars Flash Speeder 75091 is the closest I have seen in a kit - but it needs a larger windscreen and a turret to close it in on top. It also needs to look like an armored fighter jet or "The Last Starfighter" gun star ship. -- Diane Gronas, author of STARSEEKER: The Flower of Tamaroon

I love how you applies the new canopy windscreen from the Deluxe Slave 1 kit. That really gives it a nice retro sci-fi look and feel to it.

Very cohesive design. How long did it take you?
I very much like the color you chose for the seats.

About 4-5 hours in total? Out of which at least two were spent on engines/wings/whatever in the rear area, everything else was totally obvious.
Some designs just 'get right' basically immediately, some, like the yellow car before, are much more forced.
But it is those rare "instant successes" which are so fun to build. You have an idea and you immediately know this one will be a good one.

Oh yea, I saw the "in developement" pictures. I would have just stopped a long time ago.
It is nice when you find a proper use for those larger glass pieces.
