I think it took me the longest to choose which photo from the Great Barrier Reef I should post here... well this is the one. Enjoy!It was taken while I was on helicopter scenic flight! I highly recommend that! I had a trip with Reef Magic Cruises: [link]

Incredible shot! A nice fluid combination of greens and blues coming from our reef... gorgeous clouds in the background too.
Man, must've been incredibly lucky to get a helicopter flight around the reef... That would've been a wonderful experience.

Thank you so much for a lovely comment! It was great experience and I recommend it to everybody! I was using Magic Cruises (there is a link in description) and they do flights on regular basis (well depending on the weather of course!

I will once I get through the mountain of blasted paperwork... God, I've heard of covering your asses but the questions I've been asked (and maybe there's reasons since there are the threats of terrorism) border on ridiculous, especially since I've never been anywhere. Ah well, one day at a time.

Also in Europe we are quite spoilt as we do not even need travel docs to go around... except on flights you need your photo id just to say that this is you not that you can or cannot go to another country

Well for Europe (as Australian) you either do not need visa at all for 90 days or you need Schengen visa but those are usually quite easy to get... I personally think you dont need one but if you ever plan to travel to these parts check it first
Ahhh tell me about it... I had 1,5 month in Australia and New ZealandΒ - I had every hour of that time planned 
My plan was mad and no one belives me that it actually worked out without any delays and I even had 3 days I had to organise on spot

Thankfully... I don't want to get another United States visa as long as I live, if I have to go through all that again.
My gosh, getting to travel to New Zealand on top of my home country; that must've been a special treat you planned for ages. Did you have any favourite stages of your trip while you were down in the Great Southern Lands?
What about your favourites parts over the whole trip?
I'm still in the process of planning out all my stuff, and I still have a few days to do it. To tell the truth, seeing this will be my first international flight and first trip in over 10 years, I can't help but feel a little nervous about it all.
Still going to be a blast though, I'm sure of it.

Once you get over the panic and fear, you begin to analyse things and see if you can try to fix them.
