I'd been working on it off and on for awhile before I made up my mind to finish it and then post it. I have to admit that I like it better than some I've done but you know how it goes about looking at your own work and what others might think of it. But I got lucky with this one. It really did show what I wanted people to think and remember about Captain Kirk after all this time.

Thanks! I appreciate that. I always like trying to put Kirk in those darker moments that he keeps hidden from those around him from time to time and luckily this once it worked out for me!

Thank you muchly!! I'm glad that Kirk came across as I hoped he would. I've always been more of the adventure romantic when it came to Star Trek and more importantly Kirk...sometimes it/he gets lost from that idea and I can't help but try and place that back out there. So much thanks again! It makes me glad I did decide to go through with it and then post it!
