The only realistic relationship I can actually see Saber having in the series, especially since they had similar life goals, morals, and backstories. I generally see them as either bros or platonic lovers at most. With Shirou it was really just token romance cuz realistically they really don't have enough in common to have any relationship beyond friends.

I ship them on a similar way too, not entirely romantic but more for a good friendship and rivals. At least on Fate universe, on an alternative reality I'll do ship them as a couple X3

OMG that explains their relationship PERFECTLY. theyre BROS. Like, you forget, cause saber is a chick and your like SEXUAL TENSION, HO! but then you remember, saber was kinda more dud then gal, and looked up to as a fellow dude, and then you realize, these guys have the perfect bromance.

I recently uncovered sai, and I'm trying to adjust to it.
There could be a funny sitcom about saber and lancer in another universe, doing hilarious bro things together. They totally missed out on that for Carnival Phantasm.
