I realized recently that I never really paint with red. On a day where I wasn't in a particularly good mood and without having any subject matter in mind, I painted a canvas just red. After some deliberation about what to paint, a wild cityscape ensued! This is based off a parking lot on campus with a view of the Columbus skyline.Acrylic on canvas, 24" x 18".

Red is such an intimidating colour with it's boldness. But it's worked for you, works well with the city too, citys are intimidating by their very nature, so it kind of fits.
Though I must say I much prefer your moody blue citiscapes. But that's just me, and the contrast is yummy.

you breathe life into your paintings with all the little "dancing" lines. Some might call it movement. I like your style.
