Description
I've been drawing in a sketchbook recently.The first one is named:
"Death may indeed have numerous guises, but he always has a black angry mouth."
The second:
"And I squinted into the darkness on my way home, but there was probably nothing there."
The third:
"In memory of poor old Tomkins, whose mind fell open while sleeping."
I can't really comment about these, other than to say that they're the first drawings I've done in many months. It felt nice to be drawing again.

Yes, the murky turd-coloured water certainly performed it's magic. This is a fantastic trio, or triptych, or tri-whatever-it-is. Awesomeness.

this reminds me of some old (maybe dutch?) paintings i saw a while ago depicting all kinds of poxes and biblical punishments. awsome.

Great attention to detail! These really must be fully viewed to appreciate all the "little extras."
On the first page, I love the fellow with the peg leg and the cannons for his eyeballs!

thankyou much. cannon-eyes is War. well, as page three hints at, I sort of let mind fall onto the page for a bit. the water down here is just great; chlorinated, flourinated, mineralised. but I drink bottled water anyway..

as it is, the cross-hatching isn't fabulous, in fact it's intentionally shit, as is all of the illustration.

Oh my, Sam goes dark and twisted! Itall looks like some massive load of happy jammin though, I like it! I'd like to make friends with the man who has cannons within his eyesockets. He just look like a load of fun. We could cover eachothers backs, build sand-castles on the beach, arrange milk n cookie parties. I bet we would have fun ya know! Anywho good comeback you do indeed know how to kick some the butt.

guns-for-eyes is named War. he may befriend you, you might even profit from him. but any association with him will probably ultimately lead to your utter economic and existential ruin, with a complete breakdown of your social infrastructure and the integrity of your foreign policy. also, people won't like you much any more.
