The most basic part of the weapon system in common usage. Issued to recruits and militia it is used as an introductory system so the untrained person can become familiar with weapon with a minimum of instruction. The base unit of the system is the same, but a non-adjustable stock is installed. The sight installed is a quick reflex type and may not be on issued weapons.
