Description
There have been very few games that have made me feel like a total scumbag for defeating an adversary, Bioshock is one of those games. The rush of defeating a Big Daddy was immediately crushed and negated as the grieving wail and cries of a Little Sister followed lamenting the dead of her guardian. It was one of those rare moments were a violent action in a game is something that near us to our goal but also a source for regret.Fortunately you soon realize that the Little Sisters are unwilling tools, made prisoners and given a jailer in the form of the Big Daddies to ensure they continue being ADAM collectors. Saving them all and restoring their humanity was one of the most rewarding endings I've had in a game as well.
This tribute piece goes out to everyone who was a former member of Irrational Games and worked on this wonderful game.

Yeah it was good one could save the Little Sisters, but rather unfortunate that one had to kill the Big Daddies first. After all, they had been regular people before they got turned into diving suit cyborgs.

The Big Daddies are already very tragic figures as they stand, as you say, people that (most likely) were turned into servants with no will of their own. Although I got to say, getting the Plasmid that allows you to make them your bodyguards for a while is pretty cool.

Indeed, making Big Daddies into bodyguards was a really cool power. They were pretty effective at taking out splicers.
