Sorry for the late reply, I did take a look at your journal entry and I agree, the majority of the Sonic fan base has gone to hell on a hand basket. I love Sonic as a game character but the whole "storyline" that has evolved around the endless cast of characters seems like excess baggage at this point. I just can't support Sega by buying halfhearted developed games that just don't have any standards of quality. If we ever want to see another good Sonic game we must as a whole stop buying crap and pretending it is the best thing ever made. Seriously, Metacritic is flooded with reviews of Sonic games were the fanbase scores bare no relevance to what professional reviewers say about the game.
