Thru deck carrier for fighters/shuttles/dropshuttles, heavy offensive weapons pod/probe launcher on top, and a lower hull for troop transport/medical services/crew decks. This baby was created for combat, but since the Federation isn't at an offensive war, she's being used for Starfleet scientific research
