Thank you very much!

I'd like you to know, however, that Jelly Bean for Rainmeter is quite old. You should check out its successor , which is much better!

ScoobSTi In reply to leeznon [2013-10-17 01:43:01 +0000 UTC]

Thanks! I'm really not sure when it will be released. Hopefully within the next few months?

So far it seems KitKat looks exactly the same as JB, but with some color and transparency changes. V2 is capable of doing that.

Wow, this skin is messed up. Why on earth would you open the skin in the bottom left when I press the search bar rather than just letting me type directly into it?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

ScoobSTi In reply to tobsas [2013-09-25 22:42:48 +0000 UTC]

It's been mentioned again and again in the description and by me in the comments: this doesn't work on all resolutions. And I made it like that because Android is like that? Anyways, if you're so disgusted by this (frankly I am by now) I've been working on V2 since 3 or 4 months after this came out, which you can see previews of in my gallery.

And yes, it is a hell of a lot better than this.

No offense, but it's redundant if I teach you. I learned everything I know from just reading the manuals ! You can still ask me for help if you need it.

In the manuals I believe it tells you everything. Click on the bottom right dot to unlock.

Aero blur and transparency, and the volume rocker. I believe that is all.

how can i install rainmeter on my tablet?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

ScoobSTi In reply to aerionel [2013-08-29 16:27:36 +0000 UTC]

Rainmeter is for your Windows computer only, no phones or tablets.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 0

SlyrNemesis [2013-08-27 01:23:38 +0000 UTC]

Could you maybe make it compatible with Rainmeter 2.3? The computer I'm using for Rainmeter can't run 2.4 or 2.5 for some reason, I only use it for testing various mods before actually using them on my daily pc, so if you can make it 2.3 compatible that'd be nice.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

ScoobSTi In reply to SlyrNemesis [2013-08-27 03:33:58 +0000 UTC]

There are some Rainmeter codes the skin uses that I believe are only available in newer versions, so sadly I don't think I can. Did you try the 3.0 beta? Maybe that will work!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

SlyrNemesis In reply to ScoobSTi [2013-08-27 14:25:58 +0000 UTC]

I will try thanks for the tip. If it doesn't work I'm probably not be able to use your amazing skin. ><

I already did mate, they didn't know how to bypass the error. if you could make perhaps a slim version for me, same look and feel with some of the features removed I'd appreciate it, I really want to use this.

ScoobSTi In reply to jereanne15 [2013-07-16 21:24:49 +0000 UTC]

Thank you! And I could teach you small things, but small things only, because I learned from reading the official manual . I suggest taking a more basic Rainmeter skin like Illustro and breaking it apart to see how Rainmeter works. That is exactly how I learned- through what others have learned.

You could always ask me for help!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

jereanne15 In reply to ScoobSTi [2013-07-17 17:05:21 +0000 UTC]

Thanks! I read and tried those manuals and tutorials and made a VERY simple one..

ScoobSTi In reply to jereanne15 [2013-07-17 22:04:22 +0000 UTC]

Good for you! Keep trying! I started out making basic digital clocks and eventually got to where I am now. Also, don't forget you can ask for help on the Rainmeter forums or on here.

And for that, I'm inspired now. Oh by the way, can you give me a link for the keywords Sir? Thanks!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

ScoobSTi In reply to jereanne15 [2013-07-18 22:44:15 +0000 UTC]

Keywords for what?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

jereanne15 In reply to ScoobSTi [2013-07-19 01:44:02 +0000 UTC]

I mean, like the codes, for example, LeftMouseUpAction= !Execute... etc.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

ScoobSTi In reply to jereanne15 [2013-07-19 14:41:35 +0000 UTC]

Here are some easy ones that can be found in probably 95% of skins.

Image Meters

General Options

Time Measures
Now Playing Plugin
Bangs
Variables
Mouse Actions

Remember! If you need help, you can ask on the forums or send me a note (PM). Also, if you'd like, you could borrow some codes from Illustro or Enigma or some other simple suite and put it in your skin. It's fine as long as the skin you borrow from has an open license and you give credit to the original author.

Oh nooo I forgot to update that! You can use Vista! The only thing that is Windows 7 and above is the volume rocker button.

I'm gonna have to change that in the description.

Virginityrocks [2013-07-08 20:52:36 +0000 UTC]

I noticed you're having issues with placing input text dialogue boxes in relative positions. Did you know that you can assign a relative position for a box using [SectionName] and [SectionName:Y] variables? So long as the image is in the right position, the input text box will appear in the same location.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

ScoobSTi In reply to Virginityrocks [2013-07-08 22:51:20 +0000 UTC]

Ah, cool. Thanks! I never knew that, but in my V2 I figured out using variables as the input text position worked, so it seems to work just as well. So far, at least.

I've been going back and forth between my page and your page lately to see how our view/download stats compare, and this whole week we've been neck and neck. It's insane. Anyway, if this great skin is as popular as mine, we both must be doing something right, right?
