I drew this in response to some silly Kaidan hate I've seen lately.. Major Alenko is like, "Seriously?"People can throw crap at him, but he can take it. Bring it on.
Sorry, might have gotten the uniform wrong.. wish we could have seen him in his dress blues in the game..

There will always be haters for everything out there, though admitted he was a bit angsty in the first game, but more as in an adorable 'annoying' little brother sort of way

Yeah, he was adorable in ME1. Love that growth in ME3 where he gained more confidence while still being humble.. Such a complex and wonderful character.. Thank you!!

I don't understand why Kaidan gets so much hate. Granted I did save Ashley in my main ME playthrough, but that's only because my Shep was in love with her. I'm playing through all 3 games again and intend to save Kaidan this time around. He doesn't deserve all this hate.

Some people say they hate him because he's a good character. I laughed. Either that, or people think he's boring. No, I think they're just missing out.
I feel the same about Ash as you feel about Kaidan. Have fun with Kaidan.

Top to that, his character develops into something amazing in ME3. Strong, determined, honest and very open to Shep, doesn't matter if they are in love or are brothers in arms. It's just my opinion, but Ashley on the contrary acts cold and emotionless even after the coup.

I haven't learned about Ash's character in ME3. I will probably never get to a playthrough with Ash because... I can't leave Kaidan.. He's my favorite character in the series.. ;_;
